Why we are building this
About TaleTogether
TaleTogether began with a familiar family refrain: “We should record these stories someday.” Photographs were being passed around in group texts, the same old moments were retold at every gathering, and the people who remembered them best were getting older.
We are making preservation feel like a conversation rather than homework. One person asks about a vivid memory, everyone who was there adds their voice and photographs, and each version remains part of the story—even when nobody agrees on exactly what happened.
TaleTogether is private by default. Technology can clean transcripts and assemble a keepsake, but it never invents or rewrites a family member’s memory. The real voices are the archive.
